More Cats for Adoption - Direct Home
Not all the cats featured on our website are in our care. As a small branch without a shelter we can only take in a limited number of cats and place them them with our fosterers and we always have a waiting list. However, our branch will actively assist anyone needing to rehome their cat via our 'Direct Homing' service whereby we will act as a go-between for people needing to find a new home for their cat
The current owner continues to look after the cat until an adoption takes place. We feature the cat on our website and will provide as much information as we have available from the current owner but can make no claim to first-hand knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, suitability for a particular home, if it is neutered etc.
Normal donation fees do not apply with these cats but if either the existing owner or new owner wants to give us a donation if the adoption goes ahead we would be very grateful.
Please be aware that if you adopt a Direct Home cat and things do not work out we cannot bring the cat into our care, we can only offer you the Direct Homeing service as outlined here. Therefore please be sure it is the right cat for you before committing to adoption as it is up to the potential adopter to liaise directly with the current owner to decide of the cat would be suited to its potential new homePIPPA
Hi - my name is Pippa and I am a very friendly, playful, female cat in my prime - 6 years old - if a little timid (but only until I get to know you!) I am very affectionate and love to cuddle up in bed or on your knee. I love to go outside and explore, but I do enjoy a good home comfort! Sometimes I greet my owners like a dog because I missed them, and we have a nice chat. I love playing indorrs and outdoors and love nothing more than lounging in the sun and chasing leaves in the garden
As a baby I moved in with my young owner and her family and I am very used to older children and have also lived with dogs. As long as the dog is calm around me and isn't overly boisterous we should get along brilliantly! I also lived with another older cat and we get on perfectly well.
I am neutered, microchipped and have had basic vaccinations. As you can see, I happen to have no tail. This is because I made the mistake of not looking both ways before crossing the road! I was only 8 months old and my amputated tail has never been a prblem. I adapted amazingly and have never had any related issues
The reason I am looking for a new home is that having moved house 5 months ago, an older neighbouring cat has taken a disliking to me and we have been unable to resolve our differences. This has resulted in three trips to the vets for me and I am no longer able to go outside. This is why I need a rehoming as soon as possible. Being a house cat is very distressing for me as I can no longer coontinue my explorations of the outside world as I have done for the last 6 years
Please consider me as a loving, new companion, and remember that this rehoming is not the fault of either myself or my owners: circumstances have been unfortunate to us
Love, Pippa VINNY
Could you offer Vinny a home. He was thought to be a stray but he was scanned and had a micro chip so was reunited with his owner. However as he kept returning to the home of the couple who found him, they decided to adopt him with the consent of his owner
Unfortunately he doesn't get on with the couple's other cat and it has been decided it woudl be best if he was in a home with no other pets.
Vinny is 8 years old, is neutered, wormed and micro chipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He has an old injury to his eye but no treatment is needed and it doesn't bother him
If you think you would like to offer Vinny a home, please make sure you have read the Direct Home information above and then email us at email@example.com

Maya is 3 years old. She is neutered and micro chipped. She is very loving and can be vocal when you have food or treats for her. She especially likes a treat of tuna and loves Applaws food. She is used to living with another cat and gets on very well with ther owner's dog
Unfortunately her owner's other cat has been ill and since this happened she has been attacking Maya so it is thought best for her that she is found a new owner
If you think you would like to offer Maya a home, please make sure you have read the Direct Home informaiton above and then email us at firstname.lastname@example.org

Topsy and Tammy's owner had sadly died and they are missing their cuddles and a lap to sit on.
They are 5 year old sisters and they have a very close bond so need to be rehomed together
Both cats are spayed. Topsy (left) has no known health problems. Tammy (right) has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and has metal pins in her leg after she broke it a few years ago but this has never caused her any problems and she enjoys life to the full
They are very loving and friendly and comfortable around children. They both liked to be fussed and Tammy especially loves tummy tickles
We are looking for a home for them without other pets in a quiet location away from any busy roads and with access to a garden
If you think you would like to offer Topsy and Tammy a home, please make sure you have read the Direct Home information above and then email us at email@example.com
