More Cats for Adoption - Direct Home

IRECT HOMING

Not all the cats featured on our website are in our care.  As a small branch without a shelter we can only take in a limited number of cats and place them them with our fosterers and we always have a waiting list.  However, our branch will actively assist anyone needing to rehome their cat via our 'Direct Homing' service whereby we will act as a go-between for people needing to find a new home for their cat

The current owner continues to look after the cat until an adoption takes place.  We feature the cat on our website and will provide as much information as we have available from the current owner but can make no claim to first-hand knowledge of the cat, its health, vaccination status, suitability for a particular home, if it is neutered etc.

Normal donation fees do not apply with these cats but if either the existing owner or new owner wants to give us a donation if the adoption goes ahead we would be very grateful.

Please be aware that if you adopt a Direct Home cat and things do not work out we cannot bring the cat into our care, we can only offer you the Direct Homeing service as outlined here.  Therefore please be sure it is the right cat for you before committing to adoption as it is up to the potential adopter to liaise directly with the current owner to decide of the cat would be suited to its potential new home

ALICE and TED

Due to a change in home circumstances, Alice and Ted are looking for a quiet home to spend the rest of their days.  Both are 14 years old and are neutered.  They are both quiet cats and get on well with their owner's dog
They like to spend time indoors and are definitely homebirds in the cold winter months where they like a nice warm lap.  In the summer they are more adventurous and are used to using a cat flap to go and explore when they like.  Ted is more independant that Alice

If you think you would be interested in giving Alice and Ted a home, please read the Direct Homing informaiton above and then email us at southwirralcpl@yahoo.co.uk giving your name, address, contact telephone number and if you have any young children or other petsi

ANGEL

Angel is a beautiful 5 year old neutered female who is having a difficult time at home.  She is very friendly but doesn't get on with the resident dog at all so it would be fantastic if we could find her a new, dog free home .

If you think you may be interested in giving Angel a home, please make sure you have read the Direct Homing information above and then email us at southwirralcpl@yahoo.co.uk with your name, address, telephone number and whether you have any pets or young children, together with the name of the cat you are interested in
